Recently married, Jim and Marena have been friends for more than 50 years.

Both started their camping experiences in tents with young children and they share a love of travel.

Now retired, Jim was an electrical engineer for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. He spent many years as a Scoutmaster and enjoyed spelunking, sailing and scuba diving.

Marena, a registered nurse, spent 22 years as an Oncology Certified Nurse in Radiation Oncology. More recently she was a hospice case manager. Her interests include hiking, hand crafts and reading.

Ginger (the red haired member of the family) is a good traveler.

Her chief interest is in being petted.
