Allen & Laura LaTurner
Allen and I began camping in 1994 when Allen agreed to exchange the bass boat for a travel trailer. Our first travel trailer was a 26 ft. Terry. Our daughter was in the fifth grade and the trailer was great for family vacations, week-end trips and visiting the relatives (we had our own beds). In 2000 we traded the little Terry for a 35 ft. King of the Road 5th wheel. The extra space of a 5th wheel was great, but Allen became tired of problems with parking such a large unit. After searching for two years, we finally found a 38 ft. Winnebago Voyage motorhome. Allen still works full time as a design draftsman at Carter and Burgess, a consulting engineering firm. I am a retired math teacher and work part time at a dress shop in Carrollton. We love camping and visiting new places. Every trip has been an adventure with some better than others. Our favorite camping memories include Fort Richardson SP; Palo Duro Canyon SP; Granger SP; Mountain View and Petit Jean SP in AK; Durango, CO; Red River, NM; and Tennessee. We look forward to making new memories with our TNSS camping buddies. Happy trails, Laura LaTurner |
