The 20th Annual Texas Healey Round-Up - Kerrville, TX - April, 2000
This
year's Round-Up was hosted by the Houston area's "Gulf Coast Austin Healey
Club".
The other clubs in the the Round-Up Hosting rotation are next
year's "South Texas Austin Healey
Club" of San Antonio and last
year's "North Texas Austin Healey Club" of Dallas- Ft. Worth.
Almost
90 Big Healeys, Sprites, and Jensens, brought 190 people to Kerrville, Texas
(25 miles North-West of San Antonio) over the weekend of
the 7th, 8th, and 9th, of April, 2000.
Saturday
morning brought a Popularity Car Show on the blocked off streets of an eclectic
section of old downtown Kerrville.
Saturday
afternoon's activity was a nearly 3 hour road rally, clocked over some of the
"Texas Hill Country's" best roller coaster roads.
Crack-of-dawn
Sunday morning brought the cars to a fast (27 second) Auto-Cross
course in
a local K-Mart parking lot. As usual, the Sprites made their presence known.
The
accomodations were Out of This World and the food was worthy of a Cruise Ship.
