ALL BRITISH CAR DAY 2004
By Fred Crowley

Wow, what a beautiful day to have a car show.

Despite looming clouds and brisk winds, approximately 260 cars parked on the show field to compete in Dallas - Ft.
Worth's All British Car Day.

By noon, the sun had burned the morning clouds. Everybody enjoyed the beautiful and unique British and European vehicles. |

This year the D-FW All British Car Day was scheduled on Sunday, April 18th, which very conveniently conflicted with Texas Healey Roundup down in Marble Falls. Regardless, eight Healeys represented the club at ABCD.

As in previous years the venue was at White Rock Lake Park in Dallas. Proceeds from All British Car Day goes to Shoes for Orphan Souls, a humanitarian outreach program of Buckner Orphan Care International.

Although the Healeys were not large in numbers they sure did look good. The other cars were OK too, with a 1934 MG N Magnette taking Best of Show.

Healeys at the show:

Fred Crowley -1962 3000 Vintage Race Car (1st Place)
Tom Harrison - 1959 3000 (2nd place)
Tim Kilroy - 1959 AH Sprite (3rd place)
Gil Mackenzie - 1969 AH Sprite
Kevin Kagay - 1960 AH Sprite
Robert Gunter - 1954 BN-1
Mike Seitz - 1959 3000

Other club members that were enjoying the show were Dennis Hunt and family, and John Katz.
