Conclave 2005

Conclave 2005 was held during the week of June 27 - July 1 at the Adams Mark Hotel in downtown Winston Salem, NC.

Sunday was Arrival Day - Austin Healeys and their owners came from as far away as California and Quebec to attend the week long parties and events.

Monday was Race Day - Along with several driving tours of Winston Salem, the more adventuresome gathered at the Coliseum track for a FAST course Auto-Cross

Tuesday was Show Day - A Popularity Car Show was held at the Famous Reynolda House - Former home of the R J Reynolds family.

Wednesday was Rally Day - TWO Distance-Timed Rallys and a Gimmick Rally were available. Something for nearly EVERYBODY !

Wednesday evening saw a Bar-B-Que Banquet and the awarding of torphies to the competitors of the "USA-Aussie Challenge".

Thursday was a day for the officials to tally the results and get ready for a Sit-Down dinner and the giving of awards for the participants of the Auto-Cross, the Popularity Car Show, and the three Rallies.

Friday was Going Home Day - Time to pack up and say goodbye to many old friends and for us, MANY NEW friends.

There is no way to adequately thank the Triad-Club of North Carolina for their gracious hospitality during the week, except to say,

Thank You..... This Conclave 2005 will be fondly remembered.
